Weights & Measures
Trading Standards is responsible for making sure that all weighing and measuring equipment used in trade is accurate - including shop scales, petrol pumps and pub measures.
We also make sure that pre-packed goods are the correct weight or measurement. We carry out checks in retail outlets and manufacturing premises.
