Nottingham Children's Festival
Bring your children along for a fantastic quest seeking summer holiday that's full of fun and lots of free activities! From 1 - 16 August 2009 at various locations around Nottingham.
Calling all Quest Seekers to this festival for children who love music, dance, art, theatre or sport! The Festival is filled with fun packed-activities to keep them busy during the summer months.

Riverside Festival Art Zone 2009 - FREE
1 – 2 August Victoria Embankment
Nottingham Riverside Festival's Art Zone brings you a packed programme of creative activities themed around a quest to the bottom of Sea.
Nottingham Play Day - FREE
6 August Forest Recreation Ground
Come along and enjoy activities including inflatable fun, arts & craft workshops and field & track sports activities for all age groups.
Summer Fun in the City - FREE
8 - 9 August Brewhouse Yard, Nottingham Castle and other city centre venues
Take part in hands-on activities, a heroes parade and a hunt the hero challenge at Nottingham castle followed by outdoor theatre at Brewhouse Yard.
Wollaton Park Sunday Fun - FREE
16 August
Bring your friends, family, a picnic and your teddy and enjoy a fun filled day of activities and adventure. Look out for Nottingham Goddess's nature parade, storytelling events, outdoor theatre, puppet shows and a teddy bears' picnic for the under 5s.
New for Summer 2009...
Life's a Beach in the Old Market Square
22 July - 5 September
The Old Market Square will be transformed into a beach with all the fun of the seaside. Come along and enjoy this themed playground complete with paddling pool and FREE entertainment. Get creative and take part in the Seaside Toymaking workshops on the 8th and 9th of August.
