Welcome from Margaret McGlade

Welcome to the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Board website. We hope that professionals, young people, parents and carers find the guidance on these pages helpful. The site also offers professionals guidance on local procedures and provides access to training. We hope to develop the site over time to communicate with everybody who has an interest in keeping the children of Nottingham City safe. We value participation and consultation, your feedback helps us to improve outcomes in local communities.

Mission Statement

"The NCSCB, through its partner agencies/organisations and the wider community, is working to secure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people of Nottingham by protecting them from all forms of abuse and neglect. This will be achieved by timely intervention, good collaboration and information sharing and the adherence to a culture dependent upon respect, challenge, personal responsibility and accountability."
