Trent Bridge is the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, and is a world famous cricketing landmark. Recognised as one of the finest cricket venues across the globe, it has acted as host for county and Test cricket since 1838 and is the world's third oldest Test ground. It is currently co-hosting the 2009 Twenty20 World Cup Cricket tournament.
