THE ALBION BAND

Formed in 1971, rebuilt in 2011. Folk Rock at its finest. Over forty years and hundreds of members since Ashley Hutchings’ Albion Country Band released No Roses, The Albion Band takes on a brand new lease of life. Under the watchful eye of Hutchings, the baton is passed to his son, Blair Dunlop (Guitar & Vocals) along with five of England’s most promising musicians. Dunlop is joined by Gavin Davenport (Guitar & Vocals), Tom Wright (Drums & Vocals), Katriona Gilmore (Fiddle & Vocals), Tim Yates (Bass & Melodeon) and Benjamin Trott (Electric Guitar). They have recaptured the essence of English Folk Rock’s 1970’s heyday and transported it into the twenty-first century with their highly acclaimed album The Vice of The People.
