Exhibition: Celebrating Nottingham Refugee Week

Nottingham Central Library, FREE Refugee Week (18–24 June) is an annual celebration of the positive contribution people seeking a safe place to live make to our community. Throughout June, we will be exhibiting art created by local artists working with people from around the world, who now call Nottingham their home, inspired by Nottingham Contemporary’s ‘Thomas Demand and DAAR’ exhibition. A Refugee Week launch event is taking place at Nottingham Contemporary on Saturday 16 June. For more information about Refugee Week events, pick up a free copy of the ‘Nottingham Beyond Borders’ newspaper, available across the city from the end of May.
