Recycling from schools

Recycling from schools

Paper and card

Nottingham City Council provides all schools with a free 1100 litre paper/card recycling bin. A second paper/card recycling bin can also be provided for £5.00 a week. For more information please call our  Business waste collections team on 0115 9152111.

Clothing

Nottingham City Council is working with Ragtex UK Ltd to provide free textile collection from schools. Ragtex UK Ltd will pay schools for the textiles collected for more information contact di@ragtexuk.com

Composting

Nottingham City Council is working with the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) to encourage everyone to compost suitable waste from school to order a compost bin call 0845 077 0757 select option 1 and have your school postcode ready.
