European Parliamentary Election results 2009

The East Midlands Region, including Nottingham, has elected five MEPs following the European Parliamentary Election on June 4.

The five elected MEPs are:

  • Roger Helmer - Conservative
  • Emma McClarkin - Conservative
  • Glenis Willmott - Labour
  • Derek Clark - UK Independence Party
  • Bill Newton Dunn - Liberal Democrats

The total number of votes for each Party was as follows:

  • Christian Party "Proclaiming Christ's Lordship" - 17,907
  • Conservative Party - 370,275
  • English Democrats Party - 28,498
