As the former home of the romantic poet Lord Byron, Newstead Abbey has proved extremely popular with couples from all over the world. The Orangery, in which the weddings are conducted, was originally the South Transept of the Priory Church. The Byron Family, who bought the estate from Henry V111, used the room to cultivate citrus fruits, hence its name.
The Orangery is 30ft x 30ft, comfortably seating 100 guests and is situated on the ground floor. After the ceremony photographs can be taken in the gardens
