Opening / Appointment Times

Initial telephone and email advice is provided by our partner Consumer Direct (East Midlands). You can email Consumer Direct using a secure email system on their website. The website also provides advice, factsheets and model letters on a wide range of consumer rights.

Consumer Direct advisors will usually be able to give an immediate answer to a problem. In more complex cases, or where a consumer reports a potentially criminal offence, they will pass the details to Trading Standards for further help and investigation.

Visiting Trading Standards Advice

If you prefer face-to-face advice you can visit the Advice Team between 9am and 1pm each weekday, no appointment is necessary.
