Home care services
Home care is support which is provided to people in their own homes, assisting them with personal care and practical tasks associated with daily living.
Nottingham City Council's in-house home care teams provide care to approximately 500 households across the City and also purchase care from approved independent home care providers for another 1500 households. Nottingham City Council has three Home Care teams which operate across the City. Click here to find out more about our Home Care teams.
We work closely with Health colleagues, voluntary agencies and independent care providers to enable people to remain within their own homes, families and communities. Our care is focused on meeting people's needs. We work with people to promote their independence rather than encouraging dependency.
