How to pay your Business Rates bill

This sections tells you about the different methods you can use to pay your business rates bill.

Direct Debit

By far the best way to pay business rates is by Direct Debit and now you don't even need to complete any forms to do so. Just call (0115) 915 4851 and have your bank details ready. If you prefer, you can print a mandate which can be returned in the post. Once we have received your instruction, we will make arrangements with your bank and send you a revised bill. The first monthly instalment under the Direct Debit plan will always be at least 10 working days after we send you the bill. .

Online payments

Accounts can be paid online via the Nottingham City Council 24-hour secure Internet payments service. You may make a variety of payments using this secure site with most major credit or debit cards. Click here to pay your Business Rates online

In Person

You can also pay at housing offices run by Nottingham City Homes Ltd.

To make a payment by debit or credit card, telephone our operator assisted service on (0115) 915 5520, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:30pm. Alternatively, telephone our automated freephone hotline on 0800 052 0173 any time.
