Whilst the properties are still owned by Nottingham City Council, you will need to contact your local housing office for advice on tenancy and housing matters.

The following information is for people who are not local authority tenants in the Nottingham City area.

If you have issues surrounding your private tenancy or other issues about the property you live in, Housing Aid is able to provide you with confidential help and advice.

We may be able to prevent you from losing your home. If you are having problems with your housing for whatever reason, the sooner you get in touch with us, the more likely we will be able to help.  Housing Aid provide a range of services and housing options if you:

• Are concerned that you may become homeless
• Are having difficulty paying your mortgage or rent
• Need help with housing related debt
• Need to find out about your property rights
• Are in housing difficulty because of domestic violence or a relationship breakdown
• Are having difficulty with your landlord
• Want advice to make the most of your income
• Require support with court proceedings
• Are concerned about disrepair in your home
• Want to know more about tenancy support
• Are interested in private sector properties available via our Bond scheme
• Are a young person needing housing advice or experiencing problems at home
• Need advice about welfare benefit entitlements
