Children's Book Award

Every year Nottingham's young children vote for their favourite book published in the last 12 months. Librarians visited under 5s settings in March and April to read the 3 short listed stories and the children voted on their favourite story.

And the winner is........!!

We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2010 Nottingham Children's Book Award for 3 - 5s is:

This year an astounding 4207 took part across 133 under 5 settings including nurseries, playgroups, libraries and pre-schools. Thank you to all those children for helping us decide our favourite book of the year.

Winners of the Bookstart Bear Parties:

Every setting which was visited was automatically entered into our prize draw to win a Bookstart Bear Party. This has now been drawn and the winners are:
