Nottingham Riviera: 19 Jul - 27 Aug 2013
This year's event is set to be bigger and better than ever.
Nottingham's Old Market Square will once again be transformed into a bustling seaside resort from 19 July to 27 August. The city's famous 'beach' will include comfy deck chairs, a host of FREE family events, stalls selling buckets and spades and even a giant splash pool for the kids.
The Nottingham Riviera lasts all summer long and will include great daily activities for everyone to enjoy, including touch rugby, beach volleyball and craft workshops.
The Nottingham Riviera is brought to you at no cost to the taxpayer by The Mellors Group in partnership with Nottingham City Council.
GEM 106 are the official media partners and will be bringing their usual mix of fun and games to this year's Riviera with live broadcasts taking place from the beach over the summer.
