Jobs and training information in your library
Every Nottingham City Library has a special Jobs Info collection consisting of books, leaflets and electronic resources to help you find the work and training you want.
Jobs info points contain up-to-date information about:
- your career choices
- training and educational courses
- writing your CV

- interview techniques

Employment advice and support in Libraries
Several of our libraries have regular work clubs where you can get help from advisors with job searching, application forms, interview skills, cv writing, finding training and much more. Free access to computers and printing is available during the sessions.
Anyone looking for work and training is welcome - come along to meet and chat with other people who are looking for work.

Jobsite, at www.jobsite.co.uk, is a UK online recruitment website where you can search for both local and national job opportunities.
My Nottingham jobs is the job website of Nottingham City Council, and includes current job opportunities as well as access to help with job hunting skills, benefit advice and information about training, apprenticeships and volunteering.
Nottingham Evening Post job vacancies can be viewed at www.jobs.thisisnottingham.co.uk with lists of work opportunities in and around the Nottingham area.
Nottingham jobs at www.mynottinghamjobs.co.uk, allows you to search for local job opportunities, as well as offering training and career information.
