Following a redesign Nottingham Industrial Museum re-opened in March run entirely by a group of local volunteers.
Opening times
The museum is open:
Every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday (except Christmas and New Year)
17 March - 31 October, 11am - 5pm
1 November - 28 February, 11am - 4pm
Admission fee
Adults - £2
Children and concessions - £1
Pre-booked groups of 10 or more got a 10% discount.
Steaming Days (includes museum admission)
Adults- £4
Children and concessions - £2

What's in the museum?
The Industrial Museum showcases Nottingham's rich industrial heritage and is a proud celebration of how and where we worked in the city.
The museum's collections include:
- Transport - restored Raleigh bicycles, Brough motorbikes, 17th Century Baskerville coach
- Steam engines - the Basford Beam Engine which used to pump the city's water supply over 100 years ago.
- Technology - vintage radios, gramophones and telegraph systems
- Lace making machinery - recreation of a late 19th Century lace manufacturing workshop

Volunteering Opportunities
The museum is always looking for additional volunteers to help out, to find out more call our Volunteer Programmes Co-ordinator on 0115 876 2187. Volunteers can get involved with all aspects of the museum including collections care, marketing, research and site design.
