Walk, jog or run our 5km courses at Colwick Country Park and The Forest Recreation Ground every Saturday for a FREE fun friendly cardiovascular workout with like-minded exercisers.

What is parkrun?
parkrun is a 5km timed run, jog or walk which is open to all abilities. Whether you are interested in taking part as a keen club runner or simply to improve your health and fitness, then parkrun is for you!

When and where is it?
Colwick parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am at Colwick Country Park, Nottingham. Colwick parkrun starts outside the Adventure Centre in the park.
Forest Recreation parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am at Forest Recreation Ground. Forest Recreation parkrun starts outside the pavilion on the central promanade within in the park.

What does it cost to join in?
Taking part in parkrun is free, all we ask is that you register in advance by visiting parkrun.  Parking is free at The Forest Recreation Ground and available for £1.50 at Colwick Country park, payable on entry with correct change at an automatic barrier. Do I have to be a runner?
No, all ages and abilities are welcome to join in so whether you plan to run, jog or walk you'll be sure to enjoy the friendly social environment.

parkrun needs you!
parkrun events are organised by volunteers and we are always seeking new local people to join us. We make it very easy for anyone wishing to take part as a helper.
