Biographical details
Nick was born in Nottingham and practices law as a solicitor at Browne Jacobson LLP, specialising in intellectual property.
Nick was elected to the Nottingham City Council in May 2011 to serve Bulwell Forest ward in the north of Nottingham where he also lives. Nick currently holds the position of Portfolio Holder for Jobs and Growth, with responsibility for employment & training, economic development issues, business liaison, procurement and customer care, amongst other things.
Nick also founded and chairs the Bulwell Forest Action Group, is a member of the BID Board, Experience Notts board, Nottingham City Transport board, and serves as a school governor at Rise Park Primary School.
In his spare time Nick plays jazz piano, reading, and enjoys running with his two dogs - as well as being a new Dad!
