Riverside Festival
Enjoy FREE fun and activities for the whole family at the Riverside Festival, taking place from Friday 2 until Sunday 4 August 2013 at Victoria Embankment.
People of all ages can enjoy the fair along the banks of the River Trent and soak up the festival's fun atmosphere.
Sit back with a picnic or experience a variety of food from the stalls whilst listening to the wide range of music on offer.
Festival highlights include FREE art activities for the little ones in the Children's Zone, live music stages, a street fair, global craft stalls, dance workshops and a display of traditional steam engines
Crowds will once again be amazed by the jaw dropping spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night. There will be a huge range of fireworks to see and Trent Bridge and the dragon boats will make a lovely backdrop to the bright lights of the fireworks and the amazement on the faces of the crowds.
Sunday will see the return of the annual Dragon Boat Challenge which will see a number of teams take to the water to compete for charity. In the afternoon the charity duck race will take place.
