Previous Occupation: Local Government Officer 1967 to 1995. County Councillor 1993 to 1998
Outside bodies represented: Governor of Glapton Primary School in Clifton. Also Church Warden of St Mary the Virgin Clifton Village. Active Member of the Cooperative Party and a Member of the GMB.
I was born in the City hospital and lived in the Meadows as a child and later Ruddington but have lived in Clifton since 1984. I am married with two children. I served as Deputy Lord Mayor in 1999-2000 and Lord Mayor in 2000-2001.
