The Diploma qualification for 14-19 year olds
The following page contains information about the Diploma qualification, including Diploma leaflets, Prospectuses and a map of Diploma delivery venues.
The Diploma is a new qualification for 14-19 year olds that combines theory and practice and by 2013, Diplomas will be available in 14 subjects to all 14-19 year olds. These are being phased in over the next few years and Nottingham is one of the leading cities in the country piloting these Diplomas.
The following Diplomas are currently available in Nottingham:
- Business, Administration and Finance
- Construction and the Built Environment
- Creative and Media Studies
- Engineering
- Hair and Beauty Studies
- Hospitality
- Information Technology
- Manufacturing and Product Design
- Society, Health and Development
From September 2010, the Diploma in Environmental and Land Based Studies will be available in Nottingham.
From September 2011, Diplomas in Public Services, Sport and Active Leisure and Travel and Tourism will be available in Nottingham.
