The grounds of Nottingham Castle were transformed into a medieval village encampment allowing visitors to travel back in time to the 12th Century.

Visitors met Robin Hood and his Merry Men, King Richard I in his royal camp, watched living history demonstrations, wandering minstrels and historical entertainers, tried their hands at turning lead into gold at the Alchemists laboratory and visited the medieval alehouse!
