Local Area Agreement

A Local Area Agreement (LAA) sets out priorities and performance targets that a local area agrees with Government to deliver. Nottingham's LAA for the period 2006-09 is available from the One Nottingham website.

Benefits of the LAA include: better targeting of resources at a smaller number of priorities and a reduction in the bureaucracy associated with programme management.

The LAA is closely co-ordinated with the Children and Young People’s Plan.
