Nottingham City Council is looking to develop the pavilion on Wollaton Park that is situated next to the play area near the main entrance. The pavilion has not been used for a number of years and is in need of refurbishment to bring it back into use.
This project will cost in the region of £120,000. Some funding has already been secured for this project; however the Parks team will be applying for external funding this year in the hope to deliver the project in 2017.
The project includes the refurbishment of the existing building to create a space for a café/refreshment facility which looks out onto the park and play area with an outdoor seating area, an accessible toilet and space in the building which can be used by the community.
