The Industrial Museum is housed in the 18th century stable block for Wollaton Hall. It tells the story of the industries of Nottingham and its environs, from heavy industries such as coal mining and engineering to its famous lace.

Newstead Abbey

Newstead Abbey dates back to the 13th century when it was founded as Abbey. It is more famous as the home of the poet Lord Byron. The house displays many relics, possessions and manuscripts of the poet. There are extensive grounds and gardens to enjoy.
