The Nottingham City SENCO specific annual membership enables appointed SENCO role holders to attend both network meetings

Course Length:  3 hours

Course Leaders: EYFS SEND Workers and guest speakers

Audience: SENCO’s and Support SENCO’s

Network Overview: After listening to members’ feedback we have made slight changes to our SENCO specific Network.
Instead of the 3 sessions a year there will be now 2 sessions but with the addition of an extra hour in each, the times will be now from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

All Network sessions are led by the SEND Early years Team who provide advice, information and solution circles as well as any SEND updates and this year include a free SENCO Toolkit. As always this year's will also feature specialist guest speakers.

SENCO Networks will commence in October.

Specialist Speakers: We have engaged specialist guest speakers for each of our forthcoming networks who will provide advice and information on services as well as any partnership activity that practitioners can get involved in. Members will also have the opportunity to access 1-1 support regarding any aspect of SEND with the EYFS SEND Support workers before and after the sessions.

Autumn Network: We are pleased to welcome The Autism Team to the Autumn network who will be presenting: MAKING SENSE OF AUTISM (Autism Education Trust).
A basic awareness session which will support practitioners understanding of the four key areas of developmental difference experienced by autistic children.
