Audience: An ideal introduction for new practitioners including trainees or those returning to the Early Years sector. This course also meets Ofsted pre-registration requirements for Childminders.

Course Overview:

‘The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.  It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life’ - Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2017

This introductory course covers the essential key components of EYFS Statutory Framework. Taking each of the three sections of the framework over one and a half days it provides practitioners with an interactive learning experience supporting a range of learning styles. Meeting Ofsted pre-registration requirements it is ideal for a range of practitioners and a useful experience as delegates have the opportunity to share this learning experience with new practitioners, trainees/apprentices, potential childminders, and/or those returning to the Early Years sector.
