Panel members have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of ways and provide the Council with valuable feedback, opinions and ideas, helping the Council shape services and ensuring Nottingham citizens are at the heart of everything we do.
Panel members will be invited to take part in activities throughout the year. You do not need any previous experience or expertise. You will be asked to give your views and ideas 3 or 4 times a year via surveys and you'll receive invitations to get involved in other opportunities including mystery shopping and focus groups. This provides an opportunity for you to tell us what you think about services the Council provides and the issues affecting where you live.
How often you get involved is completely up to you!
In return for your valuable input, we will send you a regular newsletter to let you know how the Council has used your feedback, so you know you are really making a difference and the Council is listening to your views.
Panel members have recently been asked to get involved and participate in a number of activities. These include:
- Forming an interviewing panel to recruit the new Head of Service for Customer Access
- Mystery shopping at Leisure Centres
- Testing a new telephone service for Nottingham Revenue and Benefits Ltd
Panel members have been praised by all those involved for their valuable feedback and contribution throughout these activities.
