Short Break Services for Disabled Children

The Short Breaks Team support families with disabled children with a range of services. Families benefit from taking a break from the constant care they provide whilst their child gains confidence and new experiences.

Short Breaks are additional services that families with a disabled child or young person can access to:

  • help children and young people enjoy new experiences and make new friends
  • give parents and families a break from caring and time to recharge their batteries

Every child/young person is put at the centre of everything we do.

The Short Breaks Team have been awarded with a 'GOOD' rating in all areas of care by The Care Quality Commission. The full report is available on the Care Quality Commission website or in a downloadable format
