CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering qualification has been developed to address the new national occupational standards in food safety and recent changes in food safety legislation.

National occupation standards are statements of the skills, knowledge and understanding expected from employees by employers and the industry.  Level 2 qualifications are aimed at these in the work place who participate in activities related to the subject area.  In the case of food safety that means every employee involved in the handling of food.
