A Bingo Premises is entitled to operate a maximum of 20% of the total number of gaming machines which are available for use on the premises in categories B3 or B4.
Premises in existence before 13 July 2011 are entitled to make available eight category B3/B4 gaming machines, or 20% of the total number of gaming machines, whichever is greater.
Bingo premises licences granted on or after 13 July 2011 but before 1 April 2014 are entitled to a maximum of eight category B3/B4 gaming machines or 20% of the total number of gaming machines, whichever is the greater; from 1 April 2014 these premises will be entitled to 20% of the total number of gaming machines only.
Once the premises licence has been granted it will last for an unlimited duration. No further application will be required to be made to the Licensing Authority, unless there is a change of circumstance.

There will be an annual fee payable in respect of the premises licence issued by the Authority. Failure to pay the annual fee will result in the licence being revoked.
You are also required to complete a notice of application that should be sent to all relevant Responsible Authorities . Form A is to be used if there is one applicant only.
Form B is to be used if there is more than one applicant.

Remote Bingo Operating Licence
If linked bingo, handheld bingo terminals or automated bingo terminals are available to customers an ancillary remote bingo operating licence is required from the Gambling Commission.
