Local businesses take pride in supporting the Nottingham in Bloom campaign and helping to improve the city. A range of opportunities from hanging basket sponsorship to the popular traffic island sponsorship are available.
Neighbourhood Bloom 2010 - cost of sponsorship £3,000 + VAT
A new opportunity to sponsor the Neighbourhood Bloom initiative for Nottingham groups who want to improve their local environment and participate in the Britain in Bloom 'It's Your Neighbourhood' awards.
This initiative was a great success in 2009, with about 6,000 people in Nottingham getting involved through more than 80 different community projects.
Sponsorship is needed to support Nottingham in Bloom in building on this initiative in 2010. Sponsorship will help to fund 'starter kits' of plants, trees, compost etc for the participating communities and also to recognise participants' achievements through a presentation event at the Council House on September 22nd 2010. There will be a variety of promotional opportunities.
Nottingham in Bloom Garden Competition 2010 - cost of sponsorship £300 + VAT per category

Sponsors will be invited to present the prize to the winner of their category at a presentation event at the Council House, with photos featured on the Nottingham in Bloom website.
Toll Bridge Traffic Island
This island is at the gateway to the Victoria Embankment and The Meadows.
The cost of sponsorship for one year is £1,000 plus VAT, to include two signs with company branding.
Hanging baskets in Listergate
A high-profile opportunity to sponsor ten hanging baskets in the pedestrianised shopping area of Listergate.
The cost of sponsoring these ten basket sites for one year is £2,000 plus VAT per year, to include ten double-sided sponsorship signs.
Tree sponsorship cost from about £250 plus VAT
A chance to sponsor a tree in one of Nottingham parks and open spaces.
The cost is from about £250, including maintenance for the first three years.
There are also opportunities for businesses to sponsor areas of new woodland, and to get involved in a practical way by helping to plant the saplings. Please call for more information.
The first business to sponsor a tree is translation company AST Language Services Ltd. Managing Director Andrew Schlich helped plant the Giant Redwood at the Arboretum and is working with Nottingham in Bloom to encourage more businesses to follow suit. He has set up a website, www.treesfornottingham.org to raise awareness of the importance of trees in the urban landscape and to encourage more tree-planting in Nottingham, with more varieties in more varied locations.

Two traffic islands in Clifton, each available at a reasonable rate ideal for local businesses.
The cost to sponsor each island for one year is £1,500 plus VAT, to include three signs with company branding.
Lenton Recreation Ground
A busy and attractive local park facing Derby Road and popular with local residents and students alike.
The cost to sponsor this park for one year is £3,000 plus VAT, to include two signs and a flagpole banner.
Nottingham Road/Gregory Boulevard
A small attractive island at a busy junction close to Goose Fair island.
The cost of sponsoring this island for one year is £3,000 plus VAT, to include two signs with company branding.
Canal Street Triangle
Close to the offices of the Evening Post, this site is being replanted on a water theme and will include a 3D swan! Available at £2,000 plus VAT per year, to include two signs with company branding.
Beechdale Road Island
Located very near to Beechdale Baths and just off the ring road on a main route towards Glaisedale Drive industrial area.
The cost to sponsor this island for one year is £2,000 plus VAT, including two signs with company branding.
