There are lots of different activities for you to take part in at your local Parklife event in 2008.

Halloween Fun
31 October
Scare yourself silly at this frightfully fun day in the Arboretum. Take part in the gruesome games, ghoulish goings on and frightful frolics at the Rangers' annual Halloween afternoon. Activities take place in the bandstand.
Ghost Walk
31 October
Join the ranger for a spooky ghost walk on Halloween night.
Recycle for Nature
15 November
Come along and rescue unwanted materials to create useful stuff that can be used in your garden or park. Activities take place in the bandstand.
Victorian Walk
16 November
Come along for a leisurely stroll along the Embankment and learn about the history of the site. (Meet at Trent Bridge Entrance).
Tree Trail Launch
30 November
Take part in National Tree Week and enjoy a guided tree walk following the newly created tree trail developed specifically for this park.
Christmas at the Arboretum
14 December
Get into the Christmas spirit at this wonderful festive event set in the Arboretum. Enjoy traditional Christmas carols, brass band music, mulled wine, beautifully lit trees, mince pies and much more. Activities will take place in the bandstand.
You'll also have the opportunity to find out more about local services from a range of different organisations in your area, and have the chance to make decisions about your local neighbourhood.
