Help make a positive difference to your neighbourhood
Join our Nottingham Clean Champions scheme and help us keep your neighbourhood clean.
If you are a Nottingham City Council resident – this scheme will support you to make a positive difference in your neighbourhood.
For bigger groups such as community groups, schools, colleges, tenants and residents associations we can help with organised litter picks by lending out equipment for specific events.
Our handy Nottingham Clean Champions welcome pack will provide you with:
- Advice on reporting issues in your neighbourhood
- Information on how you can help us support new neighbours to get bin collection calendars and recycling guides
- A range of equipment if you wish to carry out litter picking in your neighbourhood (equipment can only be provided to residents who live within Nottingham City Council boundaries)
As part of the scheme, Nottingham City Council will keep you up to date on activities from our Nottingham Clean Champions and how their work is benefiting neighbourhoods.
To help others appreciate the work that you do and be encouraged to make changes themselves, we will also formally recognise your support by erecting an ‘Adopt A Street’ sign in your neighbourhood to show the street has been adopted by Nottingham Clean Champions.
Nottingham Clean Champions is an informal scheme to support you to make small changes in your neighbourhood. It can support work you are doing as part of an already formed group, organisation or as an individual.
Any reporting or litter picking can be done at your own leisure; we do not expect you to follow any set schedule or requirements.
If you require a further chat about the scheme, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0115 876 3920.
