EDUCATION AT ANGEL ROW GALLERY

Education is at the core of Angel Row Gallery’s programme, offering groups and individuals a range of innovative ways to get involved with contemporary art.  Activities include workshops for adults, young people and children and families, free guided tours, school visits and community outreach projects.

Angel Row Gallery provides a range of interpretative material, to extend the meaning and context of exhibitions.

Gallery Assistants are available daily from 10am – 5pm (7pm on Wednesday) to answer questions about the themes explored in the work.

A free exhibition handout is available giving in detail themes behind the exhibition and artworks

A free Quick Guide is also available, giving a more concise guide to the exhibition.  This is also available in Braille.

A resource room is available during each exhibition, which includes a range of publications and previously published texts on the exhibiting artists.

Practical Workshops
The Gallery’s workshop programme is delivered by practising artists. The programme aims to offer participants an opportunity to try out specific processes using a variety of materials which relate to work in the Gallery’s exhibition programme. Workshops for adults, young people and children are delivered during each exhibition.
