The Woodlands CCTV service is an important tool in the detection and prevention of crime. We provide assistance and support alongside our partner agencies to enable the creation of safer communities and the protection of Nottingham Citizens.
There are currently 210 public space cameras covering the city.
Our surveillance and monitoring service provides a day to day maintenance, repair and programmed service of equipment associated to Door Entry Systems, Access Control Systems, PA Systems, CCTV and associated control systems owned by Nottingham City Council within the High Rise and Low Rise blocks of flats as well as the public space cameras across residential areas. Our team also provides footage to be used in both civil and criminal enforcement.
The service is managed by the CCTV Manager, Neil Harvey. We proactively work with partners and communities to ensure that the request for cameras is a reasonable step, only used where necessary and to ensure that other methods of support or assistance have been utilised prior to any camera installation being considered.
